The room is built for honest questions, useful experience, careful disagreement, and decisions that improve when the whole picture is considered. Participation is an invitation to contribute, not a stage on which to perform certainty.
Respect the person
Challenge ideas directly without attacking people. Harassment, threats, intimidation, discrimination, sexual misconduct, exploitation, and deliberate humiliation are not welcome. Respect names, identities, boundaries, and the right of another participant not to answer.
Protect the room
Do not record, photograph, screenshot, quote, publish, or share another participant’s identity or story without clear permission. Meeting links are for invited participants and may not be distributed publicly. We ask every participant to protect confidentiality, but no group setting can guarantee that every person will do so. Share accordingly.
Know the limits
The Wednesday Room is not medical treatment, therapy, crisis care, or a substitute for an individual professional relationship. Do not use the room to diagnose another participant, prescribe treatment, or pressure someone to ignore qualified care.
Speak from where you stand
Distinguish evidence, professional judgment, and personal experience. Coaches, clinicians, and mentors should represent credentials and scope accurately, disclose meaningful conflicts, and avoid promises they cannot support.
No unwanted solicitation
Do not use participant information for unsolicited sales, recruitment, private messaging, or list building. Professional connection is welcome when it is transparent, relevant, and mutually wanted.
Moderation
The founders may redirect a conversation, mute or remove a participant, restrict future access, or take other reasonable action to protect safety, privacy, and the purpose of the room. Serious or repeated violations may end participation without notice.
Bring what improves the room
Bring honest questions. Bring earned perspective. Bring the humility to revise a position when better information arrives. The room becomes valuable when truth matters more than territory.
